Drugs, Alcohol, Older People - 20/11/2007

First steps approach to working with drug and alcohol users – Older People (Greenhall, Gorebridge)

This 2 hour course is a basic look at general communications skills plus strategies for working with the elderly, who may be using or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
 
Can be applied to any one-to-one work but will give an insighte into the effects of drugs and alcohol and ageing.
