Discovery Event for Lone Parents (Working Links and Job Centre Plus) - 05/02/2008
Lone parents are invited to attend a Discovery Event run by Job Centre Plus and Working Links. The event will take place on the 5th and 6th of February, 2008 at the Dalkeith Arts Centre in White Hart Street (next to the library). This two day event will help lone parents examine the barriers that may prevent them from seeking employment and help them to find ways of overcoming these. There will be oppurtunities to make contact with a variety of support services, including money advice and childcare, and CV/job application practice sessions.
