How are the credit crunch and spiralling cost of living affecting your clients?

I am interested in any information you have, anecdotal or otherwise, about how MEAN clients are faring in the current economic climate. Are people finding it harder to make benefits stretch to cover the costs of living?  Are employers less willing to take on people with additional support needs these days?  Do you have stories, quotes, case studies or statistics about how your clients are weathering these difficult times (or not, as the case may be)? 
 
What about your own services?  Are you having to reduce your services due to spiralling costs of provision?
 
I plan to compile any information you can give me into a report, which will help us jointly find ways of responding to changing needs of our client communities.
